Today is the Heavenly Birthday of my Mom, my Best Girl. Im still in shock, still weeping at various times, still reeling, still feeling quite lost and alone. It was only last month that she left her earthly vessel for the glories found only in the presence of Jesus Christ. And today would have been her birthday. But I do not grieve like one w/o hope. I will surely see her again. I’m ever so grateful to God for giving me this woman who was the perfect mom for me. She carried me, nursed me, nurtured me, prayed for, protected and counseled me throughout my life. There are so many brave things that I’ve been able to do bc of her strong love that has always surrounded me. And I’m comforted knowing how close we were, especially during this past year’s roller coaster ride called cancer. Happy Birthday Mommy 😇, I love you forever 💕

"As it happened"
The thing I love about documenting weddings is that no two are ever the same.

Sure, I generally know what's going to happen -- get dressed, get married, some family photos, the party, etc.

But these little tiny moments that happen within a split second are all so, so unique.
