Sometimes studio portraits are the way to go
With this family, we’d planned environmental portraits in Central Park on what was supposed to be a gorgeous morning. But the forecast suddenly changed and it rained! So we changed the venue to indoor portraits and had a grand ole’ time. And as you can see it was still very modern and representative of this family.
Studio portraits aren’t dependent on having great weather
I’m starting to realize why portrait photographers have been working in the studio for generations. You have lots of options but none of the potential problems with outdoor locations. You can set up the lighting to give innumerable looks. And we didn’t have to worry about any little kid wandering away.
