I rarely get in front of any camera. Yes, there it is. I’m a wee bit camera-shy. But sometimes for the sake of learning and pushing myself as an artist who works with and needs to test out physical materials, I sometimes use myself to experiment with film, cameras, techniques, types of processing, etc.
So this is me on my balcony doing a selfie using a shutter release cord.
This little square frame embodies all my analog nerdy impulses. It was shot on expired Fuji Velvia, Cross Processed by my lab, a double exposure, taken with a Seagull camera from the 70’s that I’d purchased on Ebay. So there!
