Williamsburg Brooklyn

Street Photography on Film

Watching Williamsburg Brooklyn grow and change has been pretty interesting. My first memory is from 2007. At that time I was living in Manhattan but still shooting weddings and engagements all over NYC. I had a California couple, getting married in DUMBO, who wanted to do Engagement Portraits in Williamsburg. It was fun! And I’m so glad they introduced me to the area. Now that I live in Brooklyn, Williamsburg has consistently been one of my favorite neighborhoods.

This is a mix of Ilford HP5+ and Fuji Superia 400. These are my favorite street photography films, my go-to films that are always on me. For the last 10+ years, I’ve kept a camera with me in my purse, tote, or bag no matter where I was going. You never know when the scene will inspire! Or when something just really cool or pretty or interesting shows up along the way. What are your favorite films for street photography?
